Episode #39 (April 16, 2012): Easter Experiences in the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand and Twelve [ 36:27 ] Play Now | Play in Popup | Download
(Alternate title: Did Jesus have a Wheaten Terrier?)
Join us as we talk about our experiences of Holy Week and Easter! What were your experiences?
Items we discussed:
- The NHL Playoffs have been great so far.
- Ice Ice Baby
- Andy and Jane’s computer is on the blink. So Andy podcasts from his phone and makes notes on paper.
- Happy birthday, Pope Benedict!
- The new translation of the Exsultet talks about bees. This reminds Jane of Homestar Runner (and Fr. Darryl of the Bumble Bee man on The Simpsons).
- The Triduum was tiring but good. And blizzard-y in Fr. Darryl’s area.
- Jane getting sick was not so good.
- Fr. Darryl’s dog forgot where the bathroom was. (And it’s not because Andy was podcasting from there…)
- This Week in Tech (TWiT.tv) had a Jesuit priest on the most recent episode!
Hashtag of the Week: #cebu
Question of the Week: Would you Skype the Pope?
Song(s) of the Week: I’m Sensitive to Bees by Marzipan, with appearances from Homestar Runner and Strongbad; and Song of the Cebu from VeggieTales.
