  1. Fr. Andrew says:

I think you guys already know my answer for the Starcraft question! ;)

  2. Lori Wuchner says:

Great job! I hope you put the link in our parish bulletin and splash it all over Facebook!
I have an”topic” for your next podcast…challenges of rural Catholicism vs. that of challenges of urban Catholicism…the good, the bad and the ugly!

Also, maybe a bit on you…Fr. Darryl. :) Your education and initial career path are kind of unique…and interesting. You don’t find too many Comp. Sci. grads running off to join the Seminary. I’d like to hear about your and Andy and Jane’s journey of faith.

So, use them or not. You won’t hurt my feelings.

Also, I’ve never played Starcraft but did finish Neverwinter Nights (Platinum).

    Have a great night!

    Lori

  3. Andy says:

Thanks for the ideas, Lori! I’d enjoy that. I’m working in a rather rural school, so the whole urban/rural issue affects me too.

I love NWN. I think I was about 95% of the way through Hordes of the Underdark when our hard drive crashed and I lost the saved games. Now I have those backed up, so a crash won’t kill my character off again, but I haven’t had the time to play that far through again. It doesn’t help that I like making new characters, so I keep starting over…

  4. Andrew J says:

    Great start everyone!

(Andy, don’t you have some Comp Sci background too?)

I’ve got a few sections you could add:
    1. High fives – just cool, awesome, positive things that you want to recognize
    2. Problem/Solution – some kind of life situation and how to deal with it using biblical principles.
    3. Song of the day – A great song you have been listening to lately (I love being exposed to new music on a regular basis)

    Hope that helps!
    Cheers,
    Andrew
